Traditional muscadine floral notes also comes through on the palate with some notes of honeysuckle and rose. With out question Cypress Bend’s Livingston is a muscadine wine to try for its great balance and all around polished feel.

About Cypress Bend Vineyards Livingston (from the winery):
A semidry white Muscadine wine, bold of nose and taste, which eloquently captures what the grape has to say without any fancy clothes. It retains the crisp touch, lightness and zesty aromas that have become the hallmark of Cypress Bend Vineyards wines. Pairs expressively with white meat and hors d’oeuvres.

Seems like y’all really liked this wine…do you know of anywhere in Triangle that it’s distributed?

I can dig a sweet wine on a hot evening…don’t see that I’ll ever make it to Wagram, so hopefully there’s somewhere nearer that has this for sale?

  2. Kipp Bodnar says:

It is available at most Total Wine stores in the Triangle as well as a few other wine shops. If you get a bottle please let us know what you think!

  3. Tina Smith says:

Thanks for leaving a comment and glad you liked our review. We enjoyed the muscadine flavor of the Livingston wine without the overly sweet nature of many other wines made with this grape. Nice to know about your Jazzy Fridays, and we will try to work a visit to Cypress Bend into our schedule.
