Wine Tip 08: How To Use A Screw Pull Opener

Our weekly win tips have covered many different ways to open wine, which lets face it, is really the most important part of drinking it! Today’s North Carolina wine tip focuses on using a screw pull as an opener. Screw pulls are a little more expensive than other openers we have talked about before. However, the screw pull uses a lever system that makes opening a bottle of wine easy and almost effortless.

    I have one of these…but also a ‘waiter’s’ corkscrew and frankly, like the more manual waiter’s corkscrew.

    Have a foil cutter too though…and I do like that above the ‘cutter’ on the waiter’s CS.
