North Carolina Wine TV Review:
Raffaldini’s 2008 Vermentino got a lot of attention before it was even released because it was give by US president Obama to the Italian president. We have reviewed several wines from Raffaldini up to this point, but the Vermentino is easily their best. The nose of this rich white wine dances with minerals, exotic fruit and shows a vast range of complexity. The complexity only deepens in the mouth where flavors of lemon, custard, and minerals dance in the full bodied profile of the wine. This wine is a must try and an amazing value at $16.
