Episode 34: Stony Knoll Vineyards 2007 Syrah

North Carolina Wine TV Review:
On the nose this wine starts off with a straight forward blend of cherry and syrah. The pepper transitions into the mouth with a well balanced finish, that lacks tannins. This is a simple wine not overly complex though the balance will be attractive to many wine drinkers.

Rating: ★★★½☆

according to the North Carolina Wine Ratings Scale

Price: $16

Availability: From the Winery and Select Wine Shops

About Stony Knoll Vineyards 2007 Syrah (from the winery):
Oh what a smooth, dry red wine! This wine was aged in oak casks for 24 months for an even taste balanced with fruit and tannins. The little peppery tinge on the finish is the bonus you get with this Yadkin Valley Appellation Serendipity.
