As you have figured out by know we had a blast doing our North Carolina wine dinner. Today brings us to the main event: dinner. Can the Gove Winery Nebbiolo match up with some grilled pork tenderloin and some vegetable gratin? Watch today’s North Carolina Wine TV Food Friday to learn if this pairing gets a big thumbs up or thumbs down.
Watch the Vegetable Gratin preparation video on Facebook.

I thought this was one of your better shows..could be because of all the wine you drank. LOL
Where can I get a bottle of this wine?
Red: Glad you liked the show. If you think it is due to the wine we consumed, well, there’s another course in this meal coming next week. You can get the Nebbiolo from the winery at http://grovewinery.com/nebbiolo.html. Cheers, Jeff.
We’re going to take your suggestion on the Nebbiolo. It will be paired with pork tenderloin for this meal.
One of the best restaurants in the state of North Carolina…and one of my favorites is celebrating their tenth anniversary with ten special events. Bret Jennings, the chef/owner at Elaines has always be a big supporter of local food. One of these special events will be a five-course/six-wine wine dinner exclusively featuring Grove wines.
The menu looks great and the cost is only $69 per person. The meal will be Wednesday November 18th. Menu details and reservations are available by calling Elaines at 919-960-2770.
